How we collect, use, and protect information when you use hvacschool.com and work with HVAC School.
Home / Privacy
We collect the information you choose to send us, use it to communicate with you and operate the school, and do not sell personal information to unrelated third parties. We also use two outside tools to understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising — including a tool that records anonymised playback of website sessions. We do not send your name, email address or phone number to advertising companies. See Analytics and advertising.
HVAC School operates as HVAC Training School, Inc. When this policy says "we" or "us," it means the school.
We may collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or enrollment details, when you ask about classes, submit forms, or contact us.
We also collect information about how this website is used: pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, how far down a page you scroll, the approximate region your internet connection is in, your device and browser type, and how you reached our site — including whether you arrived from an advertisement. This is described in Analytics and advertising below.
We use contact and enrollment information to respond to you, administer classes, process school records, and meet legal requirements. We do not sell your personal information. Service providers who help us host the site, send email, or support school operations may access information only as needed to perform those services.
Our site uses cookies and similar tools to remember preferences, understand site traffic, and measure our advertising. Some of these cookies are set by the outside companies described below. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings, although some site features may not work as expected if you disable them.
We use two outside services on this website. Both are common tools, but we would rather describe plainly what they do than leave it vague.
Clarity helps us see where visitors get stuck — for example, if part of the enrollment form is confusing. It records an anonymised playback of a visit: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and which pages were viewed. It also produces “heatmaps” showing which parts of a page get attention.
We have configured Clarity to hide what you type. The enrollment form, contact form, balance-lookup form and company enrollment form are all masked, so the text you enter into them — your name, address, phone number and email — is not captured in these recordings. Clarity is a Microsoft service and is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. The Meta Pixel tells us whether those advertisements actually bring people to the site and lead to enrollments, so we are not guessing where our advertising budget goes. It records page visits and enrollment-related actions, and it may set cookies that allow Meta to recognise a browser that has visited our site. Meta may connect that activity to a Facebook or Instagram account, and it may be used to show our advertisements to people who visited but did not enroll, or to reach people with similar interests.
What we do not do: we do not send your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or payment details to Meta, and we do not use Meta’s automatic contact-detail matching feature. We do not sell personal information. Meta’s own handling of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.

None of these choices affect your ability to enroll, pay, or contact the school. If you would rather enroll without using this website at all, you can call the office at (425) 778-2510 or use the printed mail-in application.
Our programs and website are intended for adults and career trainees. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact the office and we will address it as required by law.
We may link to employers, maps, licensing agencies, or other outside resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or policies.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us. No online system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive personal information by email unless we specifically ask you to do so.
We may revise this policy from time to time. The current version will remain on this page.
