  • The HVAC School offers a class in gas furnace troubleshooting which teaches you how to service light commercial and residential heating systems. You will learn how these systems work, and how to test both the electrical and mechanical components. You will be using state-of-the-art tools and methods of the trade, the course also covers CO testing and furnace start-ups.

Starting with the basics, you will learn the components, ignition systems, and electrical wiring. You'll finish by actually troubleshooting a minimum of 100 electrical faults on the school's 20 gas furnaces.

By the time you finish training, you should be at this student's speed of less than six minutes to correctly diagnose a furnace fault.

This class has the most "bugged" furnaces for student troubleshooting of any training facility in the U.S.
